CA has a long and proud history in choral music excellence.  Under the direction of Mr. Jeffery Lauritzen for the past 25 years, not only has the number of choral groups grown along with the quality of music, but Mr. Lauritzen has ventured into the music theater having performed The Music Man, The Sound of Music and The King and I.  In 2012 CA will be performing "Fiddler on the Roof" February 18-21, 2012.

Opus is the advanced audition mixed voice choir.  La Vie is another audition choir for the young ladies.  Cantalais a mixed voice choir that does not require an audition and is open toany student wanting to sing.

Mr. Lauritzen is known for his passion for vocal music and he energizes his choirs to attain high goals in music performance.  Mr. Lauritzen focuses on religious music however he adds secular music as appropriate.  At select concert performances all three choirs combine to form a mass choir with over 100 students.  Opus and La Vie have a vigorous concert schedule during the school year.

During the 2011-2012 school year Opus meets for class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:33 – 10:55 and on Friday from 10:30 – 11:13.  La Vie meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:33 – 10:55 and on Friday from 8:54-9:37. Chorale meets on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:38-3:00 and on Friday from 2:17-3:00.
