Musical Opportunities

From the our early childhood program to our high school, our Collegedale Academy students are engaged in music opportunities. Each classroom in the elementary building has a specific music teacher, preparing them for the advanced musical ensembles at both the middle school and high school levels. We also believe in encouraging and teaching our students music at their own pace by providing private lessons for all grade levels.

From our early childhood program to our high school, our Collegedale Academy students are engaged in music opportunities. Each classroom in the elementary building has a specific music teacher, preparing them for the advanced musical ensembles at both the middle school and high school levels.

Each year our various Collegedale Academy musical organizations combine to present musical presentations to more than 1,400 people for four shows. Past shows include Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, Hello, Dolly!, and Queen of Persia, written and directed by our Choir Director Lawrence Galera.

Music is a very important part of student life. Our music groups regularly perform at our local area churches. Additionally, students tour every year including locations such as Boston, Savannah, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and Europe.
